Title: Measuring student knowledge in digital learning environments. 

Abstract: How do we measure student knowledge online? How do we define knowledge? In this lecture I will introduce models from educational data mining used in research and in practice to measure student knowledge in Intelligent Tutoring Systems and online courseware systems. I will also introduce methods for defining knowledge and the educational technology platforms in the space.
